Kimfill is a wide range of thermoplastic halogen free flame-retardant compounds based on polyolefin and flame-retardant mineral fillers. These grades can be used for insulation and sheathing in power, signal, control and communication cables where flame retardancy and low smoke emission during combustion are essential. One of the fundamental problems in using ordinary cables is dense smoke which contains toxic gases that provides difficulties in fire rescuing operations. These compounds will not release significant level of toxic or corrosion gases when it is ignited.

Nowadays HFFR is used in most of public places like hospitals, cinemas, airports, schools, subway etc.
